How does merging Orbs in-game work? Orbler is a game where Orbler (Dragon) uses a collection of Orb to eliminate enemies. It is very important to strengthen the Orbler and Orb for change to secure more victories. In the game, there are two main types of Orb enhancement. The first is to increase the grade and level of Orb NFT. The second is to merge orbs in the game and upgrade them. Merging orb only happens in-game during a battle. Merging Orbs means two Orbs of the same type is summoned in the game into one. Orbs merged into one are changed into a random orb of higher-level This merge only works inside the game and does not affect the actual Orb NFT. Since the space in the field where the Orbler game is played is limited, you will need to merge into more powerful Orbs in the limited space. However, merging does not always bring benefits. This acts as a balance to the gameplay and further enhances the strategic elements. April Development Update 1) ORBLER team has been focused on creating the structure of in-game contents and interactions. Enhancing ORB NFT Orbler consists of having more than one NFT for players to own. One of the NFTs is known as ORB, an item shaped like a marble. Players are required to register a minimum of 5 ORBs to their deck to participate in the battle. There are two ways to power up your ORBs: Temporary and Permanent. Temporary power-ups can occur in-game when a player merges the same type and level ORBs together. As a result, ORB will upgrade to a randomized higher tier grade. Additionally, the player can choose to enhance a type of ORB element to strengthen all the ORBS of the same type. After the game, all ORBs return to their original state. Another way to increase your ORB power is to permanently upgrade the ORB. Players can choose to upgrade their ORB level, up to +20, by using the ORB of the same rarity grade as its ingredient. The player can also permanently upgrade their ORBs grade level by combining it with another ORB of the same rarity grade and minimum level of +5. Being able to upgrade your ORB NFTs both in and out of games adds strategic elements as well as the need for asset management for gamers, making the game more fun and challenging. Implementation of Monitoring Node and Multi-server Administration System As previously mentioned, Orbler will introduce monitoring nodes to proactively detect and catch any cheating activities in the game as opposed to a traditional reactive approach. This does not necessarily mean that the reactive approach is totally out of use. If a user can override the monitoring system, there will be a necessary reaction to counteract the activity. Orbler aims to create an efficient server structure and increase the amount of data processed in the server to maximize data integrity and fairness. However, the costs and use of the resource are higher to maintain this type of server structure. Most projects do not choose this model due to its monetary issues. In general, the server is only used for matching the users while the actual gameplay happens through a temporary connection between the users.
